so i was in virgina these past 4 days. college bball. NCAA tournament. the game was yesterday night. it was a really good game. we lost by only 2 pts. too bad. we totally should have won.
this trip was amazing.
honestly i wasnt expecting much from it. after looking at the list of who was going, i thought to myself..'hmm...what emergency excuse should i make up for not going on this trip!' i seriously wasnt good friends with anyone. i mean, i knew these people, but its not like i hung out with them on a regular basis. but i went anyways. i guess i just needed to get away from here and all these situations :-\
i roomed with jess, nicole, and ashley. nicole and i have the same bday! too bad we couldnt have celebrated it together!
the first night there, jess and i went out for a night on the town with her cousins navy friends. that was fun. we danced and played pool. and enjoyed some tasty beverages, of course. its kinda sad though, these guys were so inebriated that i had to drive us back to the hotel where we were staying. its a good thing i knew stick, otherwise i think me and jess would be lying in a ditch somewhere! they went home and we went back to our room, but ended up sleeping in one of the boys' room instead.
the next two days consisted of the same stuff. roaming the streets of virgina beach, and just looking for something to do. then topping off the evening with some laughs and alcohol.
i did feel a little out of the loop most of the time, though. everyone is really into sports. and the only sport i have fair knowledge of, no one else did. just my luck. oh well.
i made a really good friend while in virgina.
you know how people always 'judge books by their covers' ?! well, i must say, even though i try not to let it happen, sometimes i do...
well, ive seen this boy throughout my years in HOT band, and to me he looked a little older, maybe bc of his style and clothing, idk. but he just did, to me anyway. and the only way i want to describe him is sexy. (normally i refer to boys as cute, and on an occasion hot, but never sexy) well, when you see these beautiful people, you automatically assume they are snobby and not very nice. thats what i thought about him. but after talking to him for .5 seconds, i realized he is so down to earth and genuine. im really glad i met him, and i hope we stay friends throughout the years.
i cant look back on this trip without smiling. it truely was a blast.
